FAQ's

“How often should I have my dog groomed?"
It is recommended that most dogs be groomed every 6-8 weeks. Some dogs may require grooming every 4-6 weeks. Frequency of grooming will depend on breed, coat and lifestyle.

“How long does the grooming process take?”
Usually the grooming process is completed within 1-3 hours depending on the breed, coat, and services selected. You can arrange a time for pickup, or we will notify you as soon as your dog is ready.

“Do I need to make an appointment?”
Yes. We operate by appointment only. This enables us to have fewer dogs in our shop at once, creating a less stressful environment for your pet.

“What can I do between groomings to help maintain my dog’s coat?”
Brushing your dog regularly between groomings is the best way to maintain a healthy coat. This will help stimulate and distribute the natural oils produced throughout the coat, as well as remove dirt, debris, tangles, and dead undercoat.

“Do you groom cats?” No. We specialize in dog grooming only.

“Will cutting the hair short in the summer keep my dog cooler?’
Actually, a dogs coat insulates them from both the cold as well as the heat. Making sure your dog is properly brushed will help circulate air throughout the coat.
